Tom McClendon is an associate in the firm. His practice areas include business law and litigation, bankruptcy and reorganization, and regulatory law.

Prior to joining the firm, Tom clerked for the Hon. Robert G. Mayer of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

After graduating from Early County High School in Blakely, Georgia, he attended Auburn University, where he graduated summa cum laude while attending (almost) every football game. After completing his degree from Auburn by writing his honors thesis on Virginia’s Constitutional Convention, Tom attended Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia, where he graduated magna cum laude and served as Lead Articles Editor for the Washington & Lee Law Review. During law school, he worked for the bankruptcy section at Magee Goldstein Lasky & Sayer, P.C. in Roanoke, Virginia.

He also served as a summer law clerk for the Hon. Nancy C. Dreher (deceased). Tom is a member of the W. Homer Drake, Jr. Bankruptcy American Inn of Court and the Macon Bar Association.

Outside of his legal practice, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, road trips, and training his two boys to be future all-stars. Tom and his family are members of First Presbyterian Church in Macon.
