Mr.
Terry practices in many commercial and business areas
including Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings (creditor
and debtor), business formation, secured transactions,
telecommunications, construction disputes and collections
matters. Mr. Terry has experience in Georgia’s
state courts and is admitted to practice in the federal
courts for the Middle District of Georgia.
He
earned his J.D. from the Walter F. George School of
Law, Mercer University in 2001 and his B.S. in Management
and Certificate in Finance from the Georgia Institute
of Technology in 1997. He is a currently a member
of the American Bar Association, Phi Delta Phi, and
the State Bar of Georgia.
A
Macon native, Mr. Terry returned to Macon in January
of 2004 to join Stone and Baxter, LLP. Prior to returning,
he was an associate with the Albany firm of Moore,
Clarke, DuVall & Rodgers, P.C. from August 2001
to December 2003. While in Albany, he was a member
of the firm’s business law section and focused
his practice in the areas of bankruptcy and collection
law (creditor). Mr. Terry represented several large
agricultural lenders and local banks in their secured
lending transactions and collection matters.
He is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with
his family and friends. He is also active in service
to his profession and community.
