Dear Clients and Friends:

We wanted to update you on Stone & Baxter’s response to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. In order to minimize the risk of exposure to our clients and staff, the physical office will close at the end of the business day on Friday, March 20 and will tentatively reopen on Monday, April 6. Services and communication will continue to be provided electronically during this crisis. All of our attorneys and staff will work remotely, and we expect that there will be little interruption in service. If you have a hearing or deposition scheduled on or before April 6, it will either be rescheduled or switched to a telephonic hearing. We will contact you separately and in advance about those matters. Beginning March 23, our phones will be answered by our automated receptionist and you will be directed to leave a message with the appropriate attorney or staff member. We will be monitoring voice mail and will return calls as quickly as possible.  We are monitoring the situation constantly and will adjust as conditions warrant.

With our decades of experience navigating our clients through financial and legal distress, we understand the unique and unprecedented business and personal challenges that you are facing as you respond to this situation. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns or need our assistance.

We will remain reachable by phone and email. We will also post updates on our website at www.stoneandbaxter.com. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and look forward to our continued partnership, both during and after this crisis. In the meantime, we wish for the safety of you and your families during this difficult time.
